Job Purpose:

Barony Universal are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about quality assurance and who are flexible and committed to working as part of a team.

This role is responsible for assisting in the sampling and checking of incoming goods, in-process material and finished products.

Duties will involve:

Sampling and Testing of daily incoming goods and inprocess materials to assure product quality.
Recording and labelling of all sampled goods.
Checking Certificates of conformity from suppliers.
Reporting nonconformances where applicable.
Supporting the general duties of the laboratory.
Perform routing end of line quality inspections
Routine calibration checks
Supporting seal samples
Release of components and ingredients to Good Stock.
Ensure all operating areas and equipment are maintained to the required levels of GMP and cleanliness.
Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

Supporting the Quality System and the continual improvement philosophy
Take responsibility for personal and team safety with particular focus on PPE and safety systems.
Contribute to all team processes and strive for continuous improvement in all areas of the operation.
Supporting other areas of the business when required.
