Description

RM Recruit Ltd are working with our Walsall based not-for-profit client to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager to join their evergrowing team.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinkingorganisation who are growing due to their continued success.


Main duties include:

  • Provide leadership and management to the Accounts Payable Receivable teams.
  • Line manage AP and AR staff, developing procedures & monitoring processes.
  • Providing accurate figures to senior personnel
  • Providing finance support to the wider team
  • Control access to the accounting system
  • Support in month end and statutory accounts preparation
  • Keep accurate & up to date records
  • Overseeing AP & AR queries from suppliers, customers, and debtors
  • Support the AP & AR team with processing complex transactions
  • Assist the Finance Director with internal and external audits
  • Final check of supplier statements
  • Final sign off & close of aged creditors
  • Advise on potential procurement savings and economies of scale
  • Support in maximising income generation
  • Monthly reconciliation of income codes
