Evolito was spun out by YASA Limited to exclusively industrialise the next-generation electric motor technology and IP for the rapidly-growing aerospace market.


By accelerating the adoption of electric propulsion, we will help revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free electric air transportation.


As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for an Indirect Buyer to join the team to develop, continuously improve, and support Operations and other Evolito departments with procurement of non-flight materials to support manufacture of our products.


  • Key responsibilities will include:_
  • Taking ownership of indirect supplier performance and development
  • Supporting tactical procurement activities such as placing POs, expediting, supplier returns, manage supplier KPIs, invoice queries for responsible categories
  • Developing and maintaining a supplier tooling register for production tooling
  • Developing and maintaining an indirect preferred suppliers list
  • Supporting engineering, test, and production departments with consumable requirements and nonflight materials
  • Supporting initiatives to improve productivity in production
  • Supporting Capex and facilities procurement including tendering, negotiating on Terms and Conditions and executing Service Level Agreements where appropriate
  • Negotiating, executing and maintaining site facilities, IT and logistics contracts
  • Identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives for this category of spend
  • Skills and experience required:_
  • Previous experience in a similar role within Procurement
  • Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, both internal and external
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive and positive approach to work with a creative approach to problem solving
  • Good attention to detail
  • Effective team player
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Desirable:_
  • CIPS Level 4 or equivalent, or working towards accreditation
  • Previous experience supporting indirect procurement in manufacturing environments (automotive, aerospace, or industrial)
  • Experience with Capex procurement
  • Experience in managing a range of service providers
