Description
Provide care to individuals with a variety of mental health conditions, building therapeutic relationships. Manage the specific symptoms of mental illness, de-escalation and helping patients overcome challenges. Liaising with doctors, social workers and other professionals. Interacting with patients' families and caregivers, offering advice and information on patients' conditions.Prepare and maintain patient records, producing care plans and risk assessments. To provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
If physical intervention with a patient is required, it is integral that you carry out this duty for your role.
Lead a staff team, including HCA's, throughout the patient conveyance or therapeutic observational service.
To maintain a professional attitude, approach, and response to the continuation of good working relationships between staff and patients throughout the transfer.
Attend the Prometheus base at the required time as instructed by the Clinical Logistic Manager, and dress in line with the company uniform policy.
Responsible for any other tasks deemed reasonable by the management team for the smooth running of the company.To assist the Operations Manager/Rota Manager in ensuring all staff follow agreed policies and procedures detailed by Prometheus
Essential Criteria:
Current Valid NMC Pin Excellent written and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy. Proactive and positive self-starter.
Excellent teamwork skills. Well-organised with good time management skills Valid Enhanced DBS or on the update service. Currently working in a compliance-focused role. Full UK Driving Licence.
