HR Administration Officer to join our team in
Maidstone.You will join us on a
full-time, permanent basis,and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£24,532 - £27,414 per annum.

About the role:


As a
HR Administration Officer, you willbe responsible for providing HR administrative and advisory support to managers and colleagues across the Service.

You will also provide administrative support to the wider HR Team around sicknessrecording/monitoring, induction of new employees, producing employment contracts, arranging medicals for operational staff, DBS processing, preparing documents relating to employment changes and leavers, conducting exit interviews, and assisting with the organisationof HR events.


Most importantly, you will continuously review administrative practices in order to improve ways or working and to create a more inclusive and customer focused service.


As our HR Administration Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering HR administration activities within agreed timescales
  • Continuously reviewing administrative practices in order to improve ways of working and create a more inclusive and customer focused service
  • Providing first line assistance on the HR helpdesk and Absence helpdesk
  • Assisting with the induction process to support new entrants into the organisation
  • Preparing documents relating to employment changes and leavers and pass to payroll for processing
  • Conducting exit interviews with colleagues leaving the service

What we're looking for in our HR Administration Officer:

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to a diverse range of customers
  • Good knowledge of administration processes including producing documents and the accurate inputting of data
  • Experience in prioritising, planning and coordinating your own work to meet specific deadlines
  • Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to create and edit documents in Word and to record data in Excel
