  • Poole, Poole, South West, EnglandAs a newly appointed Materials/ Stores Controller you will join an expanding team based in Poole to support the smooth manufacturing process of market leading equipment.

About the role
The role is based in Poole and working hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.


The job will involve:

  • Receiving goods and reporting shortfalls and damage
  • Movement of checked goods to storage locations
  • Liaising with suppliers about delivery delays and discrepancies
  • Ensuring inventory management systems are up to date
  • Stock counting and rotation
  • Machine cleaning and packing
  • Delivery loading and unloading, incl. forklift use
  • Keeping accurate documentation in accordance with relevant legislation,
incl. Dangerous Goods Act, where necessary

  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to.

About You
The role would suit someone energetic, with good communication skills, and a combination of the following:

  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage time effectively
  • Ability to communicate well with external stakeholders
  • Commitment to health and safety in the work environment
  • Positive attitude and proactive problem solving
  • Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint would be an advantage.
