- :Lead environmental working groups, coordinate strategic activities, and assure the technical integrity of design and performance of various high-calibre weapon-systems as an Environmental Domain Lead.

You would be part of a small but rapidly growing team playing a key role in multinational research programs.


You will be responsible for delivering the strategy related to the Environmental Domain, particularly EMC activities, across the whole lifecycle from defining requirements through to engaging with stakeholders.


About the Role:

  • You will collaborate closely across the business, defining and delivering critical EMC activities.
  • You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring a coherent Environmental Domain across all stakeholders, and taking ownership of strategies from inception to certification.
  • As the focal point of all EMCrelated activities, you will mature environmental requirements, develop proving strategies, and engage with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the Environmental Domain.

About You:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of environmental engineering including environmental engineering standards, specifically Electromagnetic Compatibility, within the defence sector or relevant industry
  • Knowledge of EMC environments, and their applicability to different products across the lifecycle
  • An understanding of environmental test processes, test measurements and instrumentation
  • Experience of planning, managing, implementing and delivering strategies.

  • Salary: £45,000£55,000 Plus Bonus and Benefits

  • Hybrid (23 Days On-Site a Week)
  • Must Be Eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC)

You will be successful in this role if you are an engineering professional in a highly regulated industry with a focus and passion for enhancing EMC activities related to the environment within the defence sector.


Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only
open to British Citizens.

Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

This is a permanent position.
