Description

This post attracts a welcome payment of 5% of the starting salary for the grade to enable individuals to join our permanent workforce. This is payable upon successful completion of your probationary period and is subject to eligibility criteria.
As a Cook, you'll be the backbone of our culinary operations, whipping up mouth-watering meals and ensuring our customers are treated to nutritious delights.
Your culinary creations will be the highlight of their day
Based in Keynsham, you will be delivering a nutritious mid-day meal to the customers living within the extra care service at Hawthorn court or to people visiting any of the day services. Opportunity awaits as you bring your catering knowledge to different groups of our community.
This isn't just a job; it's a commitment to making a difference. Embrace a permanent position offering 18 hours per week, working on a two-week fixed rota. That includes weekends and bank holidays because great food and care don't take a day off
We also have a 'Bank team' and we welcome successful applicants of permanent positions to also be part of this team, this will allow you the flexibility to pick up additional hours to fit around you and your personal commitments.
As our services expand and develop, there may be opportunity in the future to increase contractual hours or expand your role, we are looking for great people with energy and enthusiasm to grow with us, if this is you then apply.
