Ashfield Engage is delighted to be partnering with AstraZeneca, a global, innovation driven pharmaceutical company, to recruit a team of Clinical Sales Specialists nationwide.
They create life-changing medications for patients across the world by pushing the boundaries of science and work with the NHS to transform care, improve outcomes for patients and advance clinical excellencein the UK.
The Clinical Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting AstraZeneca's respiratory brands to healthcare professionals in primary care.As an Omnichannel enabled representative, you will utilise a range of face to face and remote engagement tools towork with healthcare professionals, providing tailored support and helping them make important decisions which will ultimately improve patients' lives.

- Meeting or exceeding sales and market share targets in your area for the brand/s you promote
Building and maintaining strong relationships with your customers to be the partner of choice
Maintaining high levels of clinical knowledge in your specialist therapy area and high levels of NHS knowledge to fully understand the environment your customers work within
Consistently achieving high standards of in-call capability, effectively using all promotional materials appropriately
Demonstrating compliance within the AstraZeneca's UKMC governance framework and the ABPI Code of Practice
Essential Skills
Virtual and face to face sales experience
Presenting on different virtual platforms, with strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
Strong results focus
Shows initiative and is self-starting
High emotional intelligence demonstrated through management of own attitude
ABPI qualified (unless new to representative role)
Qualified to A-Level standard or equivalent
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of the customer and therapy area within area of responsibility
Strong influencing skills via virtual selling
Success in virtual pharmaceutical sales
Science degree
