£100,000 (DOE) + Bonus & Benefits - London - Hybrid

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely production of all Group financial reporting, management reporting, including tax, treasury, and the completion of the audit process for all Group subsidiaries.

Youwill be in charge of ensuring the integrity of financial information and compliance with local and international accounting standards.

The duties of the Financial Controller:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for supporting the CFO and Director of Finance on all financial management aspects of the business:

This includes:

Delivering the Group's monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner, including overall narrative, AUM updates, operations, and distribution.

Preparing the annual and interim financial statements of the Group and subsidiaries (annually) including management of timetable, liaison with auditors, implementation of technical accounting treatment, printers, marketing, Co Sec function for subsidiariesand other parties to ensure successful delivery in line with deadlines.

Serving as the key audit point of contact for all audit matters across the group, delegating tasks and requests to the appropriate team members around the Group (Group and divisional finance teams, compliance, investment teams, legal).

Ensuring that financial reporting controls are maintained and appropriately followed, for example, from expense claims through to general payments and counterparty verification (call backs).

Managing the Group tax function, VAT returns, Corporate tax returns, and other HR-related tax returns. Working closely with external providers to support the correct tax treatment, submission, and settlement of the Group's tax liabilities.

Providing optionsthrough working with Evelyn Partners (or appropriate tax advisor) to consider with the Director of Finance/CFO the most appropriate tax treatment and structures within the Group.

Supporting the Group remuneration process from annual approval of bonus and salary changes with the Remco to liaison with payroll providers on a monthly basis for new joiners and updates, working closely with HR, Director of Finance and the CFO.

Managing and providing oversight of the accounts payable and receivable processes using the Group finance team for timely execution with appropriate approvals.

Closely monitoring revenues and other critical elements of payments and receipts.

Provide support to Director of Finance and CFO on ad-hoc requests.

Lead the project team to upgrade our current accounting systems to ensure the system remains fit for purpose in a fast growing and acquisitive environment.

This project will require input from a detailed accounts level and will also need detailed system implementation oversight.

This is a comprehensive role that will require a high level of skill and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The Financial Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success ofGresham House.

The successful Financial Controller will have:
Degree and ACA/ACCA/CA/ (or equivalent)

7+ years PQE predominately within FS

Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills

Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP

Experience in fund accounting and asset management

Experience working in a listed company

Strong knowledge and experience with accounting systems

Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Strong aptitude for numbers and financial analysis

Remuneration:

£100,000 per year base salary

Discretionary performance based bonus 25% +

10 % pension

25 days annual leave plus public holidays
