KEY TASKS:


  • Clean all areas and remove batch spillages in batch mixing area and basement
  • Delivery yard maintenance and cleaning
  • Job changes basement cullet emptying
  • Assist mixer during busy times and assist in transport of cullet
  • Clean Cold End coating loads
  • Rake out job changes on machines
  • Clean oil leaks and report to Maintenance
  • Grit walkways around factory in Winter weather
  • Hot bottle conveyor cleaning in basement
  • Basement magnets removal and disposal of metal components from process into waste material skips
  • Cleaning of basement
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested within skill set
  • Working days (5:45am1:45pm) Monday
  • Friday

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Previous experience of manufacturing industry (desirable)
  • FLT license (desirable)
  • Skidsteer license (desirable)
  • Motivated and professional with a desire to achieve results with a commercial and customer focus
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and delegate
  • Selfresilient and capable of making difficult decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have basic problem solving ability
  • Promotes and is passionate about the values and standards of the business.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
