***Newhouse Academy is a comprehensive secondary school, situated close to the M60 in the town of Heywood. Part of the Hollingworth Learning Trust, we are on a school improvement journey to deliver rising academic standards. A recent Ofsted inspection reflects this. The emphasis for the academy is the 'Our People' high expectations agenda, where we have concentrated on doing the right thing for our people, through a carefully constructed personal development curriculum.

Working closely with the Pastoral Team and Heads of Year, you will respond to call-outs from classroom teachers, where a student may need removing.
You will assist in the supervision of students on corridors and public areas and work with the team responding to challenging behaviour.

Hours:
32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Salary:
NJC Grade 4 scale points 7 to 11. Starting scale point is dependent on experience. Actual salary = £18, ,308
Contract type:
Permanent. Term time only, which includes three days of training.
Start date:
March / April 2024
9am on Monday 26th February 2024
