Role Overview:
This is an exciting time to join Children's Services in Oldham.
We're expanding the service to provide more high quality professional support to frontline children's social workers and managers to help families keep children safe.
If you're looking to make a real difference, Children's Services are looking for people like you, to provide effective and comprehensive higher level administrative support to our Children's Social Care Teams, ensuring service support needs are met efficiently and effectively.
If you join us, we will ensure that you have everything needed to do your job well and support you to progress in your career.
In this role you will:
- Send out invitations, prepare for and minute social care meetings and distribute key documents to professionals and families.
- Ensure information relevant to the service is recorded on systems accordingly.
- Provide administrative support, working to competing and changing priorities and demands.
- Provide an excellent level of customer service working as part of a team.
- Use computer packages and internal systems and communicate with a variety of audiences.
- Securely manage confidential and sensitive information.
We need you to have:
- Experience in coordinating and minuting meetings.
- Good organisational skills and be able to work on own initiative.
- Experience of providing a high standard of customer service.
- Experience of ordering goods and services and undertaking financial tasks.
- Be a flexible team player, able to work at pace with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulations.
