The Credit Assessment team consists of five analysts, made up of different experience and industry knowledge. The team collaborates closely with the sales team, the financial controller, and diverse sectors of business operations. Their primary responsibility is managing the business's credit exposure in an environment that is both rapidly changing and dynamic.

Be part of a team that enables business growth

This role will be an important member of our growing credit assessment team supporting our rapidly growing and dynamic IT solutions business. This passionate, highly numerate individual will work closely with our finance and sales teams to maintain credit risk controls within an existing framework.

As a Credit Underwriter Executive, you'll be responsible for:

• You will analyse credit and financial data to determine the risk of a customer and appropriately extend credit for all industry channels including the public sector
• Assessing new business applications to ensure prompt credit decisions are made within SLA guidelines and conform to the Credit policy
• Provide a commercially balanced recommendation to appropriate colleagues for credit requests that exceed the analyst's credit mandate.
• Develop a collaborative relationship between the credit assessment and sales team, with the addition of a specific assigned office
• Monitor and action adverse business alerts received from our third party credit agency

• Good Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Good communication skills
• We are looking for a highly numerate and motivated individual
• Proven analytical skills with ability to document findings
• Ability to take calculated risks with favourable outcomes
• Strong record of success in a fast-paced environment, with ability to manage own work and deadlines.
