Key Stage 1 Teacher

A small village school is seeking a part-time teacher to cover one day a week in their Key Stage 1/EYFS class, starting after February Half-Term.

This post is open to ECTs and experienced teachers.

Children at this school are free to grow, achieve & explore' in a beautiful rural environment.

The small class sizes enable lessons to be hands on, and children experience communication with other children of all ages.

There is a strong sense of communitybetween staff, children and parents.

Unique learning styles are embraced and children grown to learn life long skills to be outward looking, forward thinking, open minded individuals.

As a teacher you will:

Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
Plan and teach well structured lessons
Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
Make accurate and productive use of assessment
Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
Fulfil wider professional responsibilities
Demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct

Must have:

Up to date CV with a clear history of your previous work history
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Online Update Service (or be prepared to obtain one for a fee).
Overseas police check if required
Be able to provide 2 references covering the last 5 years
Legal right to work and be able to provide proof of this
Be able to attend either video or facetoface interview
