An opportunity has arisen within the Meeting Support Team for a Business Support Officer who can provide a professional and confidential service supporting a variety of meetings, conferences and panels that are part of statutory and legislative processes.

The following attributes are required to deliver both excellence and professionalism;
- the ability to organise and prioritise work tasks to agreed timescales with a high level of accuracy
- excellent team working skills, as well as being able to work independently
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- the ability to demonstrate a level of resilience (with support), when presented with sensitive information.

You will need the following skills:

  • the ability to provide comprehensive administration to a diverse range of meetings through agreed processes
- to be able to consider alternative ways of managing performance and be both flexible and responsive to change.


In return, you will:
- have full knowledge of Information Governance policies.
- have the opportunity to expand your skills and understanding of the services the Council offers
- accumulate knowledge of laws and policies around different operations, for example, social care.
