- Oversee New Product Development for MFT (Manufacturing Technology) stage gate processes.
- Champion the transition to a digitalized approach in our technical activities, enhancing capabilities through lab rig automation and data-driven reactions.
- Enhance the understanding of current products and processes, including cost structures and bill of materials.
- Demonstrate creativity and apply external knowledge to your projects and processes.
- Coordinate the work of lab-based colleagues contributing to MFT.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and universities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as the liaison with Technology and the plants to drive technology implementations and process enhancements.
- Ensure process scalability, support plant trials at external parties, and offer technical insights for efficient root cause analysis.
- Solid background in process and chemistry, particularly in organic and polymer fields, along with familiarity with statistical methodologies.
- Proficiency in research and leveraging existing knowledge.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are vital.
- Effectively communicate project plans and progress to stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize effectively, and make timely decisions.
- Apply critical thinking and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in manufacturing plants is a plus.
- Background in project management and leadership is beneficial.
- Foreign language skills are advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques for product and process development is preferred.
