Administration Officer
Permanent Position
Salary - £20,972
2 Part-time/Flexible hours posts, although Full-time hours will be considered (37 hours)
Base - CVS Head Office, Shaddongate, Carlisle
Job Purpose
To act as a first point of contact for Cumbria CVS clients and respond appropriately to all enquiries.
To support the organisation to deliver high standards of customer service and to manage and maintain effective and efficient administrative systems for Cumbria CVS.

All the of the detailed duties of this role are listed in the job description.
Some of the key duties include:
- Taking and producing minutes
- Carrying out building checks, escalating any issues
- Supporting the implementation of our CRM, HR and Health and Safety systems
- Maintaining online and paper based filing systems
- Managing the administration of events, taking bookings, setting up guest lists, liaising with event managers leads
Experience and Skills
This will be a diverse administration role, working both with external clients and the wider Cumbria CVS staff team.
This is a key support function and will require someone with key administrative knowledge and experience of working in a busy office environment, the ability to work unsupervised and on their own initiative, have the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively and someone with good customer service skills, providing a polite and professional service.

Interviews will be held in person at Shaddongate on Wednesday 1st February 2023 or remotely via Teams or Zoom (upon request)
