The Senior Consultant Delivery is responsible for delivering transformation programs at customer sites through optimizing economic, operational and clinical outcomes.

As part of the Performance Partnership Europe Team this position will be fully remote although ideally based in the UK.


You will work within a multidisciplinary team (leadership, commercial, analysts and fellow senior consultants), focused on core consulting and continuous improvement initiatives within client operations and health networks across Europe.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Improve patient care and satisfaction of care givers by improving the performance of the lab by helping customers re-engineer new or existing operations to build continuous improvement strategy.
  • Understand the linkages between strategic objectives and process improvements, using both analytical tools, consulting techniques and change management.
  • Develop and gain consensus regarding high level key performance indicators (KPIs). Use bowlers and other visual management tools to ensure sustainment.
  • Work within an established process framework and governance to achieve sign off from customer partners when goals have been achieved and projects are complete.
  • Identify gaps in current project milestone deliverables and develop / implement innovative methods to close gaps to be able to provide desired results on time. Facilitate course corrections to hit milestones signoff by customer.
  • Collect and analyze before and after data points to ensure goals are met and customer signoff in a timely manner. Analyze LIS data to confirm customer volumes, test menus and validation of project implementation. Work with teams to diagnose workflow impediments and provide expert counsel on applicable Lean tools to eliminate waste. Develop solutions that are aligned with objectives of the client.
  • Communicate clearly to internal customer facing peer groups regarding performance improvement projects and timelines. Develop processes which ensure peer group alignment to customer performance objectives and helping to remove roadblocks.
  • Develop proof points to support program messaging & marketing material to promote the success of the program.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree OR Master's degree with a track record of demonstrated success in achieving customer sign-off on continuous improvement consulting.
  • Clinical Lab Operations Management experience including test menu optimization strategies, understanding Hub and Spoke models for core, regional and other lab setups, Inventory management, Equipment Capacity and Staff Productivity.
  • Proven ability to lead the management and strategy of cost savings projects or optimization projects for large complex customers; strong business insights and ability to analyze client capabilities, identify root cause and growth tool opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data & analytical tools to assess key business metrics and situations from a "general manager's" point of view; effective at structured problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Required travel is >65%.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Clinical Lab leadership experience in health care system.
  • Formal Change Management experience and/or Certification.
  • Professional competency in French language
