An exciting opportunity has become available for a
Logistic Operative which will deal with
post, waste management, parcels etc for one our commercial skyscrapers in London.

It stands 230 metres tall including its 28-metre mast making it the second tallest building in the City of London.

• SIA Licence required
• A working knowledge or an interest in the customer service environment
• Efficient and effective Communication & Interpersonal Skills both written and oral to compile reports
• Must be able to demonstrate a professional and proactive approach towards Security and have an attention to detail and be proactive
• Excellent time management & task prioritisation skills
• Must have experience in working within a team as well as on your own and have the ability to operate in a pressurised environment
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site

• Keeping areas of the site which come under our demise clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure that no materials or rubbish are stored/stacked in fire exits or escape corridors within the site.
• Any areas which do not come under our control and where the escape corridors are blocked, they will inform their supervisor, who in turn will contact the offending contractor, who in turn will rectify the issue.
• Remove all full wheelie bins to the collection point.
• A Toolbox talk will be provided on Manual handling, correct usage of bins and the risks involved with loading out and transporting waste in wheelie bins.
• To be constantly aware of protruding objects and to visually inspect the bins on a regular basis.
• Reporting any damage to the Logistics Manager for immediate replacement or repair. The bins will be regularly monitored for types of waste, fullness and safety loadings.
• Operatives will be informed by the Logistics Manager which areas are unauthorised at particular times during the course of the project.
• Be responsible for the loading and unloading of all goods.
• Assist the delivery driver who is onsite and make sure all goods are transferred to the correct tenants.
• All goods will be monitored and logged coming in and out of the loading bay.
• All deliveries will follow the gate schedule which is the bookings of the deliveries.
• The movement of waste from Sushi Samba lv 38 and B1 areas area are priority. Along with accurate recording of waste.
• Segregation of waste into the correct stream (Food, Glass, General and Dry Mixed Recycling). This must be adhered to at all time to minimise the chance of contamination charges.
• Cross contamination of waste streams must be reported to the Logistics manager for further investigation.
