This Top London Law Firm have embarked on a major transformation of their technology function and having reached the end of the "catch up" phase having been behind, are about to embark on a raft of projects aimed at driving technology forwards, delivering projectswhich will have real business enablement and help drive the business forwards.

As a result they require a well rounded PM who enjoys owning projects from beginning to end and successfully seeing through to completion.

There are more than 60 projects in the pipeline for this year alone for the PMO.

The role will be very visible within the firm and will engage with key stakeholder across every department on projects which will directly impact them.

To be considered you will be:

  • 4+ Years IT Project Management experience
  • The role suits a PM from a professional services background (Legal could be an advantage but the CIO feels there are good ideas and approaches from other sectors)
  • Open to types of projects delivered as they can train in anything they need to, but a varied background would possible lend itself best
  • Not too bogged down in a particular method such as Prince 2, the CIO wants someone able to cherry pick what fits best and can be utilised on a needs must basis.

This firm offers:

  • Extensive training
  • Agile working actively encouraged is the drive for agile working as they feel this offers work life balance.
  • Open spaces for meeting and creating, recently upgraded and massively extended coffee bars, restaurant, kitchens on every floor, vending and open spaces for employees to use freely (Getting away from the desk and collaborating)
  • Lots of simple but hopefully fun activities partners vs support staff events, sporting competitions, table tennis, triathlons, social events etc. Not a must attend, but the aim being to foster an inclusive environment and so far, very well attended.
  • Buddy system allocated a longterm member of staff as a buddy, given £50 to go for coffees, talk, learn about the culture etc
