General Teaching Assistant - Harrow

Are you a graduate contemplating a new and exciting career in teaching? Would you like paid work experience in schools to help you understand if working in education is the right career for you?


Here at Tradewind we try and ensure that successful graduates are placed in schools relevant to your progression and could be within primary, secondary or special schools.

Over the course of the placement, graduates will have a range of tasks from supportingstudents learning, one-to-one tuition and interventions.

You may be required to plan lessons for a class.


Throughout your time at Tradewind we will ensure that you have the relevant support network from the school's senior leadership team and your consultant.

If you decide teacher training is your next relevant step, we can give you the information you needto decide what is most suitable for you.

About you;

  • A genuine interest in a career in education
  • Extremely reliable and can be flexible when needed
  • A willingness to get involved with the wider school community
  • An excellent relationship builder with students and staff a like
  • A recent graduate.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
