Software Support Specialist

The Role


As a multi accredited software provider, we pride ourselves on offering a premium level of support and are now looking to add another exceptional Software expert to our team with this role.


The successful Software Support Specialist is someone with a proven ability to multi-task, who is honest and empathetic towards both colleagues and customers.

They will be an excellent communicator both written and verbally, who also has a strong eye for detail.

This person can work independently or in a team. Someone with a passion for continual development who is a positive thinker, flexible, and proactive.


Responsibilities
Within this role some of the key things you will be responsible for are:

  • Working with the existing Software Support Team to resolve tickets and create content for our clients to use in a proactive manner to reduce future tickets.

Essential experience with technologies below required:

  • Meet operational targets for response, resolution, and updates
  • Ensuring customers are continually updated with the required communication method
  • Continual training and improvements
  • Monitor and maintain supplier logs and updates
  • Helpdesk ticket management and logging
  • Follow complaint & escalation process / procedure
  • Customer information maintenance
  • Industry & Product awareness and effects
  • Team communication & Collaboration
  • Maintain Excellent communication and feedback
  • Excellent Customer service levels
  • Company Vision and Goals are communicated and maintained
  • Team & customer communication levels
  • Meet operational targets for response, resolution and updates
  • Excellent customer service & feedback
  • Data population and maintenance
  • Ticket logging and management
  • Running webinars, and small bitesize training sessions over teams
  • Help sheet and knowledge base population

Knowledge & Experience
To be our successful Exchequer Software Support Specialist you will possess the following:

Essential

  • AAT Level 2 or Higher / Equivalent Experience (or significant accounting knowledge and experience)
  • 2+ Years Exchequer Accounts Software or equivalent Accounts software Helpdesk Support
  • Accounts Software Accreditation in relevant product
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Structured Problem-Solving Skills
  • Able to Work as a Team or on own
  • Strong IT Skills
