Job Summary


Working and training within the Commercial Administration team providing all-round administrative and customer support to the activities of the Commercial teams working with Construction and Energy waste streams.

This role will support the learning in the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively support and embed a generative safety culture
  • Working within the Sales administrative team who provide administrative support to the activities of the Augean teams dealing with mainly construction and energy waste streams
  • Data entry of new enquiries onto the company's bespoke Weighsoft 5 (WS5) system from a completed technical assessment form
  • Providing telephone support to the sales team providing excellent customer service
  • Creating accurate quotations from the enquiry entered on WS5 to forward onto clients on behalf of Account Managers
  • Updating and maintaining WS5 including spreadsheets and documentation which are ran through WS
  • Assisting the team who are responsible for all administration including producing reports via excel & correspondence as & when requested
  • Working within a team who are responsible for completing all Weighbridge tickets and invoicing, providing team members with support in these activities when required
  • Training towards Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • Maintaining continuous professional development and competence for the role
  • Any other reasonable duties as and when to suit the business requirements

Critical Qualifications

  • English and maths at standard grade (or equivalent)

Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • A good command of the English language (written and oral)
  • Strong computerbased skills and operating systems including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to focus on detail and complete administrative duties to tight deadlines
  • Experience of and ability to work in a methodical, organised and systematic manner
  • Skilled in working within deadlines whilst being flexible and confidently prioritising tasks

  • Ensure job completions are processed accurately, with attention to detail for invoicing purposes
