Role:
National Control Centre Operative


Job Type:
Permanent, Full Time


Pay Rate:
£10.45 per hour rising to £11.00 per hour on satisfactory completion of training. £10.30 per hour guarding rate


Location:
Doncaster and surrounding areas


Hours/Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, with extra shifts available should you want them. The shifts available are alternating days and nights rotational - 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off amd so on.

Driving:
Full UK Driving Licence is required for this role


Number of Positions: 3


As a National Control Centre Operative, you will be working primarily within our National Control Centre (NCC) completing duties including Monitoring CCTV and reacting appropriately to alarms.

You will also monitor check calls, ensuring that our SecurityOfficers are okay.

As part of the NCC team you may be required to complete void property inspections as well as some other key holding duties.

However, the role is primarily based in the Control Centre.


When you join us, we will enrol you on to our training programme to ensure that you are confident with every aspect of the job before being signed off.

The NCC always has at least two members of staff on shift so you will never be on your own.


No previous CCTV experience needed

Duties Include:


  • Answering check calls and monitoring officers' welfare on site
  • Completing rostering
  • Monitoring CCTV cameras and reacting appropriately to alarms
  • Managing incidents and raising the correct response on a situational basis
  • Liaising with clients, staff and emergency services in a calm and professional manner
  • Attending sites as a response officer
  • Undertaking training as necessary to fulfil the demands of the role

Essential Criteria:


  • Frontline SIA Licence (SG or DS or CCTV)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • IT literate
  • Able to work with confidential information
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and able to convey information to a third party in a professional and concise manner

Advantageous Criteria:


  • Previous control room experience not essential
