Our fabulous #TeamNLCSCumbernauld are expanding and now on the lookout for friendly and positive individuals with a passion for helping others to join them on a permanent basis with between 16 and 36 hours a week available.


The Role
You be joining a a multi disciplinary team of dedicated colleagues supporting individuals with mental health needs. those requiring long term care and young adults with autism in various settings.


With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you will work in a person-centred way to provide support in all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances.

Youll be enthusiastic and take an active interest in their hobbies which may include community events, going swimming and bowling and attending clubs along with many more activities.

We'll be looking to you to help identify new opportunities for participation and inclusion for the people we support.

As a few of the people we support have their own mobility cars it would be great if you have a manual UK driving licence with at least one year experience but this isnt a deal breaker


To be a great Support Practitioner we'll need you have the following qualities;

  • Always seek to go above and beyond what's expected.
  • Confidence in the use of computers.

Shift Patterns


Our team are dedicated to providing tailored support to the needs of each individuals and shift patterns for this service usually fall between the hours of 08:00 22:00.

If you join our team, you should be flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

If youre successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration.

We will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
