About the job
The apprentice will work in accordance with their apprenticeship training modules, meeting agreed criteria. They will also learn to work as part of a team, providing admin support to the central administration function.

  • Responsibilities:_
  • Record keeping, recording data and retrieval of data
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post and items for courier service deliveries.
  • Photocopying and scanning of documents
  • To work with a variety of IT systems
  • Reception duties including, meet and greet internal colleagues and external clients, receiving telephone calls/ensuring messages are accurately recorded and forwarded to the correct person.
  • To support the management of meeting room bookings including any requirements on the day.
  • To communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in relation to work undertaken to ensure an effective admin service.
  • To work with others on the improvement of administration procedures including the planning and organisation of new processes.
  • To gain a good understanding of policies and procedures including fundamental GDPR, Health & Safety etc.
  • To support the undertaking of office health & safety checks including fire alarm testing.
  • To support the proof reading and distribution/storage of reviewed policies and procedures.
  • Support the Office Manager with any project management tasks.
  • Work in accordance with company polices and procedures
The list is not exclusive and there maybe additional ad-hoc admin tasks.

  • Must be able to understand and work in accordance with confidentiality

Qualifications required

  • Desirable
  • GCSE English, Maths and ICT C/4 and above

About the training
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will achieve a Level 3 certification.
