Interim Finance Assistant - School Trust (Norfolk)
We are currently working with a school trust who are looking for an Interim Finance Assistant to join them. This position offers a competitive day rate and will primarily focus on assisting with year-end financial tasks.

The role can be 100% remote-based, providing you with flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.

Alternatively, you can be on site at their school in Norfolk.

They will need you in up to 3 days at the start of contract for induction.

Role Responsibilities:

As the Interim Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team during the year-end period.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with yearend financial data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records, transactions, and reconciliations.
Supporting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Collaborating with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
Conducting adhoc financial analysis and providing insights to improve financial processes.
Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on yearend processes being advantageous.
Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices.
PS Financials experience.
Education background.
Immediate availability

Location and Compensation:
This position offers the flexibility of 100% remote work, allowing you to work from any location. Paying a competitive day rate.

Duration:
The role is intended to be an interim position to support the finance team with the year-end period. The expected duration is 12 weeks.
