Continuous Improvement Manager
Salary £50,000 - £60,000 5% matched pension, 23 days holiday rising with service. Office Based.
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for embedding a strong continuous Improvement culture across this business.

You will have responsibility for identifying, prioritising, planning, facilitating, executing and delivering on continuous improvementsfor all departments across the business.


The incumbent of this position will be a strong leader with the ability to engage, inspire and drive associates to embrace continuous Improvement tools and use them to drive positive and long-lasting change across their business units.

They should encouragecross functional integration and ensure that associates in all areas feel empowered to make changes in a "Just Do It Manner.

The Continuous Improvement Manager will have strong organisational skills with the ability to problem solve and project manage in a multi-functional business.

You will need limited guidance and will have the ability to work from your own initiative whilstworking in line with overall business objectives.


The Continuous Improvement Manager will:


  • Engage and coordinate with business (and each business unit), to identify, evaluate, align, and prioritise opportunities
  • Manage opportunities which align to strategic goals and have larger benefits
  • Manage and facilitate key continuous improvement events
  • Plan, prepare, facilitate, support, execute, and monitor events
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders
  • Enhance and embed CI Processes
  • Refresh and utilize submission and tracking tool and process
  • Instil disciplined planning, execution and follow through
  • Continuous improvement development and training
  • Maintain and manage development and delivery of internal training
  • Provide Continuous Improvement Leadership
  • Advocate and promote CI methodology
  • Coordinate and host CI Coordinator meetings

We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager who has:

  • 3-5 years of experience within a role with a strong continuous improvement culture.
  • Project management concepts
  • Experience within a
    sales and distribution environment:
  • Leadership skills, evidenced by 5 years people management responsibility.
  • Strong IT Skills particularly VISIO and Powerpoint.
Experience practicing an improvement tools previously such as: Six Sigma, Lean, Kaisen, DMAICetc; will be useful.

This role is commutable from Northampton, Market Harborough, Lutterworth, Rugby, Peterborough, Oakham, Stamford, Wellingborough, Irthlingborough, Milton Keynes, Kettering.
