    This is an exciting opportunity to join our administrative team at the Nightingale Hospital, Exeter, working to support the different services located on the site. This includes the following services; Southwest Ambulatory Orthopaedic Centre, Centre of Excellence for Eyes, Rheumatology, the Devon Diagnostic Centre and the Buttercup Unit.     We are looking for individuals with experience and proven skills in reception work and administration with excellent people skills, to join the team. The role will include performing specialised reception cover, undertaking administrative duties, and dealing with queries face to face and over the phone. You will work closely with our team of Nightingale Volunteers, on the front line in meeting and welcoming patients, visitors and staff to the hospital and therefore you must be confident in dealing with people at all levels. The successful applicant(s) will need to be able to offer flexibility to meet the needs of the service, which currently includes evening working and is likely to include weekend working in the future.

    The successful applicant(s) will work on a rotational basis, being responsible for working on our Outpatient Reception, our Surgical Reception desk and the Buttercup reception area, receiving patients as they arrive in outpatient clinics and for surgery, dealing with telephone enquiries and booking appointments where required.
