About the Role:

Salary:
£19,100 - £25,800 pro rata + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family.


Working Pattern: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract | Part Time

This position is part time, working 18 hours per week on Wednesday PM, Thursday, and Friday. The role is fixed term for 6 months initially, with the possibility of a permanent contract. Due to the nature of the role, this position is not suitable for remote working.


As ID Card and Access Control Administrator you'll work as part of our security control room team based in Havant.

You'll create, print and despatch access control ID cards for SSE employees and contractors using software-based systems to enable access to offices.


The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • ID Card Production and Printing: Completing data entry onto software-based systems including the printing of ID cards.
  • Access Control Administration: Programming ID Card data and assigning required access control levels as required.
  • Stock Control: Ensuring stock of blank ID cards and accessories is monitored, maintaining a suitable level of stock.
  • Logistics: Ensuring post and deliveries are handled on time.

What do I need?:


You'll be well organised with the ability to balance a varied and challenging workload to prioritise and deliver within deadlines.

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:


  • Previous experience of providing administration support and excellent customer service.
  • Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable dealing with a busy workload and the ability to work flexibly to provide support where required.
  • Attention to detail and a desire to drive efficiency.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
