About The Role:

A fantastic opportunity has come up to join our dynamic quality team as a

Senior QAE Officer. This is a key role undertaking all aspects of quality assurance and enhancement, including creating and enhancing our policy and regulatory environments, developing and engaging academic staffs' understanding of the quality landscape as well as contributing to smooth running of assessment boards, participating in academic approval events and taking part in numerous panels (academic integrity, disciplinary and/or health, wellbeing and support for study).


This role involves working closely across the University and its partners including student services, student records, student programmes and achievement, academic teams and many others to ensure appropriate consideration of quality, standards and regulatory requirements alongside student and staff success and wellbeing.


Additionally, the role will be key in identifying student data trends (retention, engagement etc) which are highlighted to senior management to be fed into policy and process developments, with a focus on owning delivery of any quality-linked enhancements as a result of learnings identified.

The role is also envisioned to provide a key point of conduct for quality and standards enquiries as well as operating as part of the wider QAE team more generally.


About You:


  • Significant proven administrative experience, including minute taking and report writing as well as effective use of systems and processes
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate and synthesise information in reports
  • IT literate including proficient user of Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to use initiative and creativity to resolve problems
