JOB DESCRIPTION:
Financial Controller


Reporting to:

CFO

Responsibilities:


  • Leading and Motivating a team of 3 in the Finance department, from Administrators to part
  • Qualified ACCA colleagues.
  • Manage External Auditors, and manage team to fulfil all Auditor requirements.
  • Lead, and support the Finance Team in preparing the Statutory Finance Accounts to the standard of a PLC (GAAP standard)
  • Support the Senior Management in the coordination, and review, of the monthly P&L/ BS forecasts.
  • Successful execution of key projects and strategic initiatives
  • Drive standardised processes and procedures relating to accounting policies, and accounts

Main Tasks of the Job:

  • Successful management of Cashflow, and Cashflow Forecasts
  • Supervise Monitor, and review the month end activities, and reconciliations.
  • Monthly review and reconcile stock and inventories.

Requirements:


  • Recognised Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Very Strong Excel skills up to Macro level to produce bespoke reports
  • Organisational skills
  • Strong Communication written/verbal Skills
  • Able to work in a Flexible environment
  • Work on own initiative unsupervised
Desirable

  • FMCG experience
  • Experience with Xero software
