- Provide sound, commercial, and solutions-focused advice on the full range of HR issues, with particular expertise in recruitment and employee relations.
- Act as a coach as well as an advisor to managers on performance issues and conflict resolution.
- Work closely with the CEO, Board, and SLTs providing advice and guidance on all HR issues.
- Managing cases of dispute that have the potential to lead to Employment Tribunals proceedings.
- Develop, review, update, and implement HR policies according to compliance and business needs and implement and maintain (Workday).
- Advise, train, and support on recruitment and selection and take responsibility for the school recruitment process including creating/updating Job descriptions/Person specifications, the creation and placing of adverts, involvement in interviews, and administering pre-employment checks.
- Advise on compensation and benefits.
- Deliver training to line managers in key HR areas.
- Excellent Knowledge of UK employment law.
- Experience of the Workday System (Desirable).
- Coaching and mentoring experience.
- Previous experience of dealing with ER issues.
- Strong recruitment and selection experience.
- Exceptional people skills.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Proven experience of providing HR advice to senior staff and managers.
