Would you like to work in a welcoming, supportive, and innovative environment within a Trust that prides itself on delivering top-notch services to the local community?

If you're good at working as part of a bustling team and have excellent customer care skills, we're currently seeking a housekeeper who is motivated and eager to join our team.

Kingston Hospital's experienced and friendly staff fosters a supportive culture where you can build a rewarding career.

The Hospital is located in Kingston upon Thames, a lively riverside town on the outskirts of London and Surrey. Kingston boasts a variety of bars, cafes, restaurants, and shops that rival those in central London. Just a 15-minute walk from the Hospital, Richmond Park offers a tranquil escape, and with Norbiton Station right at the doorstep, you can easily hop on a train and reach central London, just 12 miles away, in under 30 minutes.

If you can showcase a caring, compassionate attitude and are interested in being part of a team that values each member, we'd love to hear from you.

    Main Duties of the Job

The housekeeper will collaborate with the Nurse in Charge of the ward to ensure all visitors feel welcome and receive excellent customer care and front-of-house services.

This role complements the work of the nursing staff and does not replace or duplicate domestic services but enhances the overall patient experience. The post holder will be part of the unit team, responsible for maintaining a neat, tidy, uncluttered, and well-presented unit; managing the daily stock of clinical supplies, and cleaning and maintaining equipment.

They will ensure a safe and comfortable unit environment and will be flexible in taking on non-nursing duties as assigned by the Ward Sister/Nurse in Charge.
