- Electrical distribution system definition
- Understanding of safety critical systems and the application to electrical systems design and specification in harsh environments
- Circuit and harness design using Zuken E3
- CAD routing and packaging
- Creation of drawings and BOM in accordance with JCB standards and procedures
- Specifying of electrical and electronic components for use in the vehicle system
- Testing and validation of machine electrical and electronic components and systems
- Development of technical specifications, Group Electrical Standards and instructions
- Carrying out electrical system and installation reviews to known standards
- Involvement in warranty investigations into electrical system components
- Set-up and maintenance of development and validation rigsPerson
- Educated to a minimum HND level in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Self motivated and capable of working well both alone and as a member of a team
- Able to demonstrate significant experience in automotive or Off Road electrical systems design
- Able to use of Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter
- Proficient user of Zuken E3
- Electrical circuit design expert
- Have a good knowledge of vehicle legislation and standards for UK, Europe and ROW
