Main Purpose of JOB
The Bottling Team Leader (Weekend Shift) is responsible for the execution of the production plan (Customer Service & Quality Targets) on a daily basis.
SCOPE
Responsible for either:
Two Bottling Lines; or One Bottling Line that is either highly complex in nature or requires a higher number of Team Members.
Will typically manage around 20 Team Members.Role is directly operational and will work a recognised Shift Pattern.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the daily execution of the production plan and that appropriate action is taken when the plan is deviated from or at risk
- Lead shiftbased Tier 1 Team Meetings to a defined standard code of conduct and agenda
- Lead shiftbased Short Interval Control (SIC) meetings to drive routine recovery towards standard performance targets through SMART actions with the Tier 1 team
- Conduct Shift Handovers alongside opposite shift team leaders in order to have an effective transition of line status, performance data and general information required between shifts
- Representing the responsible bottling line with effective data and background at the Tier 2 Daily Operations Review (DOR) meeting
- Communicate compliance with shiftbased routines through the engagement with Leader Standard Work (LSW) and it's visual management
- Drive Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) through routine RCPS Investigations, Actions & Weekly Review meeting
- Drive and manage the execution of Asset Care Allotted Time through coordination of User-Driven Maintenance (Team Members) and supporting access for the Maintenance team on the preventative and predictive maintenance routine workload
- Management of Team Members through annual performance and development processes and agreed action or development plans.

- Supports visual management (for example, helps the team to understand measures, updates team scoreboards, and supports data capturing
- Supports focused improvement (for example, identifies opportunities for improvement, uses basic problemsolving tools, develops improvement action plans, and communicates solutions to the team)
- Effectively conducts team meetings (reviews the team's performance, discusses the day's work plan, keeps the team informed, and allows for feedback)
- Engages in work planning and control (for example, establishes daily inputs and outputs, allocates work to team members, arranges overtime, and manages leave, training and absence)
- Implements and promotes 5S (for example, coaches the team in 5S principles, conducts weekly 5S audits, develops 5S improvement plans, ensures 5S adherence, and communicates 5S equipment and material requirements)
- Participant manages handovers effectively (for example, records relevant shift data for handover, ensures disciplined handover, ensures that checklists and inventory records are updated and does facetoface handovers as required)
- Participant is involved in administration (for example, completes attendance documentation, administers overtime records, coordinates leave, and deals with salary and wage queries)
- Competent in using technology (for example, MS Office Applications and Business Systems)
- A thorough understanding of our Supply Chain, Quality and business processes
- Full authority to make key operational decisions for the individual line managed at Tier 1 level
- Encouraged Tier 2 escalation route to assist/support resolution of issues experienced at Tier 1 level that need higher Tier management decision & support

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a similar operational / manufacturing environment (FMGC)
- Technical skills / Manufacturing Techniques
- Knowledge of work processes, quality standards, etc.
- Experience in working with LEAN Manufacturing principles (SUTR, 5S, RCPS, etc.)
- Experience and use of Visual Performance Management tools
- Management or Leadership Training/Qualifications (for example recognised Leadership Development
