An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this exciting organisation in the leadership team as Head of Asset Investment reporting to the Director of Sustainability and Investment.

Salary:
£76,000 per annum + benefits
Benefits:
A defined contribution pension scheme with the company matching contributions up to 8% of salary and up to 6 weeks holiday entitlement, based on service.

About the Role
As Head of Asset Investment, you will optimise the organisation's homes and estates for the rapidly decarbonising economy we are heading into.
Making recommendations on the homes and estates standards for the future and to where they grow through new investment,acquisitions, and stock swaps and where they maintain, remodel, regenerate or divest their land and property.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Asset Investment include:
- Be part of the senior leadership team
- Engage with heads of service across the organisation on all aspects of the supply and investment strategy
- Preparing recommendations to the business on the way they invest in their affordable housing portfolio as part of the 30year business plan.
- Interpret the organisation's vision to create great homes together and put a strong strategic asset management plan in place to make sure it happens.
- Managing the teams that deliver planned and cyclical works
- Gathering data and insights to ensure they have the right homes, right quality, and right place for customers and operations.
About You
The Head of Asset Investment will be a visible, confident energetic leader, who leads from the front and works collaboratively across boundaries - role modelling values through leadership.
- Track record in interpreting future trends data on issues relating to homes, the built environment, and local plans.
- Experience of working across the whole asset lifecycle of buildings and estates
- Ability to demonstrate delivery of and passion for initiatives that improve environmental sustainability in the built environment.
- Experience working in a regulated sector.
- A strong influencer, an organisational wide collaborator with excellent communication and people skills with an approachable style; able to own decisions and focus on solutions; be financially savvy; efficient and performance driven
About the Organisation
The organisation owns and manages around 9,000 homes and is a community-based housing association. They mainly work in Dorset and Somerset (head office is in Dorchester) providing housing services to local people. You will be joining an organisation thatprides itself on providing a good working environment and benefits.
