Behaviour & Special Needs Support:
As the Teaching Assistant at Haywards Farm School, you'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in our student's lives.
Your role includes fostering engagement, behaviour management, and helping students with specialist educational needs.- Engagement: Encourage students to actively participate in social, behaviour, and academic activities, in and out of the classroom.
- Management & Liaison: Collaborate with the team to implement behaviour management strategies, maintain relationships with vulnerable students, and support their emotional wellbeing.
- Development: Help students discover and develop their unique talents and abilities.
What you'll be doing:
- Support: Address behavioural and special needs challenges.
- Interventions: Deliver SEN interventions and keep students on task.
- Lesson Assistance: Assist with lesson plans, provide feedback, and mentor individuals and groups.
- Reports: Create detailed reports for SEN student needs.
- Responsibilities: Cover classes when teachers are absent and provide support outside the classroom.
- Safety: Ensure policy compliance and maintain records.
- Development: Pursue professional development and contribute to the school's vision.

£16,500.00-£20,000.00 per year
