I am currently recruiting exclusively for a business based in East Kent who is looking for a Buyer to join there business.

This business is a very well known business in the area and they are looking for an individual to join who has experience with similarreponsibilities;

Managing Projects and Contracts which are assigned to you
Dealing with Price and product discrepancies
Negotiating with Suppliers for best prices, rebates, credit terms and other matters
Progressing orders
Managing system making sure all purchasing costs are up to date and in line with business policy
Keep record of customer orders and managing the detyails on the system
Planning stock purchases
Maintaining critical stock, supplier assessment/performance details alongside quality issues with suppliers, making sure their is continual monitoring.

This role is looking for someone to join as soon as possible, but the right person needs to be able to work with the team, be able to work to deadlines effectively and has strong attention to detail with good level of excel skills.

Experience in an engineering or technical background would be advantageous
