The job itself:

75-year-old male, living in Bridlington is seeking support workers to support for 24 hours per week. Hours of work would be Tues, Wed, Thurs 9am - 5pm.

Gentleman's care and support needs are: Parkinson's disease and Lewy Body Dementia.

Gentleman likes to go out for food, involvement with cooking such as chopping and preparing. He also likes to go for short walks and visit places of interest such as museums and garden centres. He likes cars, planes and any tv programmes to do with antiques and these things. He likes going to antique shops, car shops and showrooms, Auctions.

The role will involve:
personal care and hygiene, toileting, support eating, dressing. Help with accessing the community. As his cognitive abilities fluctuate the support required can change from day to day. Picking up at 9am and returning home at 5pm.

Car driver with own vehicle and business use on car policy is essential.

DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.
