About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Staff Systems Officer (System Administrator) to join Staff Recruitment, Payroll & Pension Services and positively contribute to the development, implementation, and operation of our staff information systems at Edge Hill University.

You will be responsible for improving and maintaining our core HR/Payroll, E-recruitment and Expenses systems ensuring they encourage user-friendly and effective processes, facilitate quality data, management information and reporting, and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll/payments to Edge Hill University staff.

About You

As Staff Systems Officer (System Administrator), you will:

Have system super user experience, or experience in maintaining business information systems
Have excellent numerical, analytical and IT Skills (including advanced level excel skills)
Desirably, have experience of HR or Payroll system administration and/or development.
Be proactive, solution focussed and have the aptitude to develop systems knowledge and explore options for process improvement.
Have the ability to successfully coordinate and organise project work and build highly effective working relationships.
