KBB Recruitment are looking to recruit a
Transport Coordinator in
West Drayton, London £30,000K - £40,000K

Previous work experience in a coordination role within Transport / Waste Management industries would be ideal but is not essential.

This is a career for someone who wants to grow with a young and dynamic company with an aim to become a Transport Manager.

Responsibilities for aTransport Coordinator, but not limited to:

Routing and scheduling lorries in the most efficient way taking into account workload and circumstances
Communicating with drivers
Reacting to and problem solving daily transport challenges
Answering phones, taking bookings and dealing with clients
Assisting and learning from Transport Manager
PMI, MOT and daily defect paperwork
Provide support in preparing quotations & specifications to potential clients

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

Proficient user of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and quick to pick up new systems
The ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent coordinating/administrative/organisational skills with the ability to selfmanage, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills with good telephone manner and a strong customer service ethos
Quick learner who learns from the consequences of their actions
The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
The ability to build strong relationships with work colleagues, customers and suppliers
Accurate data entry skills
