Annual Leave Entitlement:

About the role:

Are you looking for a motivating role delivering exciting events for your local hospice?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-energy event professional to join our income generation team.

You will lead on the delivery of the hospice's flagship mass participation events including our New Year's Day Dip, Santa Abseil, Memory Walks, and Colour Run as well as coordinate our challenge events (Himalayan Trek, Bath Half, London Marathon, SkyDive Days).

At the same time, you'll be responsible for identifying and delivering new St Margaret's events to grow support from our community to support our income generation goals.

This role sits within our dynamic Fundraising & Communications Team, where you'll have the opportunity to drive forward new event trends and innovations, as well as increase the return on investment of our existing event portfolio.

The post will also work closely with other income generation teams to ensure supporter experience is embedded across our events, and opportunities for cross sell and conversion to other income generation activities are maximised.

You'll have event management experience, either in a charity setting or a comparable role, and will be highly organised, used to multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.

Motivated to achieve the best possible results, you'll be a confident self-starter, who is happy engaging with and communicating with a range of stakeholders to maximise our impact as a hospice.

We want people with a positive attitude who are willing to go the extra mile, not because they are asked to but because they are passionate about working for St Margaret's.

If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you.

You will be joining a busy and thriving fundraising team with a clear vision for the future and the drive to succeed.

One thing's for certain, this role is hugely varied, and no day is the same.

Whether it's coordinating hundreds of Santa's as they abseil off Cheddar Gorge or cheering on our amazing London Marathon runners on the streets of London - we can guarantee that you will get huge satisfaction from being part of the St Margaret's team that helps make each day count for patients and their families in Somerset.
