    Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a highly regarded Town Planning and Development Consultancy in Bristol with the hire of a Senior Town Planner.

    This is a permanent position.

    Our client operates nationwide and has been successfully trading for over 35 years In this role, the successful Senior Town Planner will provide professional advice to a range of clients across the public and private sectors, planning for all types of development, and in particular Housing, Affordable Housing, Care/Older Persons Accommodation, and Custom/Self-Build Housing.

    • Strategic Land Promotion
    • Planning Policy Advice and Representation
    • Planning Appraisal
    • Planning Application
    • Planning Appeals / Expert Witness
    • Planning Enforcement
    • Community Engagement
    • Monitoring
    • Housing Needs Assessments
    In order to apply, Senior Town Planners should hold the following;

    • Previous planning experience commensurate to a Town Planner / Senior Town Planner.
    • Private sector experience essential.
    • Strong report writing skills.
    • Understanding of the UK planning process.

    In return for your commitment and hard work, the appointed Senior Town Planner will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary (guide of £35,000 – £45,000pa), a competitive benefits package, a varied workload and an experienced leadership team for support.
