    Job Title: Reception Teacher

    Location: Ealing, London

    Salary: £160-£260

    Contract Type: Full-Time, Supply

    Start Date: September 2024

    About the Role:

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Reception Teacher to join our vibrant community in Ealing. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons that support the holistic development of each child in the Reception class.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
    • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
    • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing feedback and support to help each child achieve their potential.
    • Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Implement and uphold the school's policies and procedures, including those related to behavior management and safeguarding.
    • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
    • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    • Experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
    • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
    • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

    Desirable:

    • Specialism in a particular area of early childhood education (e.g., literacy, numeracy).
    • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
    • Familiarity with educational technology and its application in the classroom.
