Heat Treatment Operative | Sheffield | Permanent | circa £22,000


As a leading manufacturer and supplier of bespoke engineered products, this multi-national company with more than 30 years of history, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operator to develop their career with an excellent employer.


The Role

The Heat Treatment Operative will report to the Heat Treatment Manager and will be responsible for assisting with the receipt and despatch of material within the Heat Treatment Department.


Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Goods receipt & despatch of material to ensure trace ability of material through correct use of administration procedure.
  • ID material before & after heat treatment, highlight & report any anomalies, to chargehand and or Heat Treatment Manager.


  • Charger makeup/break down

  • Ensure correct makeup of charger in line with Heat Treatment reports.


  • Straightening / Brinelling

  • Working to deadlines to meet with customer demand.

You
You will have experience working with metals and a good knowledge of metal grades


Additionally, you will have:

  • Licenses for Craning & Slinging, Side loader & Forklift
  • Manual Handling training
  • Basic knowledge of heat treatment

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
