Description

Children's Services transformation:
exciting opportunity to come and join us.

Due to colleagues securing promotions, we have two fantastic opportunities to come and join our team at one of the most exciting times ever for children's services in Dorset and nationally.

Our Children's Services transformation team is part of our Commissioning Service and are playing a key role at the heart of the work we are doing in Dorset to pilot national reforms for children's services through the Pathfinder: Families First for Children.

The Strategic Transformation Lead is a critical role providing the capacity to be agile and flexible to respond to business need, emerging opportunities and fulfil project management demands.

This role has strategic oversight of programme governance and takes the lead on benefits realisation.

We are looking for someone who can analyse, assimilate and use evidence from a wide range of sources including data, intelligence and research and translate this into strategies, policies and plans.

If you have experience, knowledge and skills in providing senior programme leadership across a portfolio of projects then we'd love to hear from you.

If you are passionate about improving outcomes for children and families, are an exceptional organiser and communicator, love to work in partnership and alongside colleagues, thrive in an energetic working environment, we would love to hear from you.

You would be welcomed into a kind and supportive team who are all about generously sharing their knowledge and experience and helping each other to succeed and thrive.

The context statement provides more information.

This is a fixed term opportunity for 12 months with the potential to extend.

This is a full time role at 37 hours per week.

This post requires significant travel. You must have a vehicle (or transport we deem suitable) available for use as needed.

See our policy on safeguarding children and young people.
