Class 2 Skip Driver Required

The Best Connection are currently seeking a Class 2 driver to fill a position in the NG7 area for an immediate start. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Class 2 Licence with CPC and DIGI card and must have a minimum of 6 months driving experience.

The position is for a client who deals with scrap metal which is to be recycled. You will be based out of the Nottingham site collecting the scrap metal during the course of your working day from various businesses premises.

To be considered for this position you will be required to undertake an initial driving assessment which if successful will be followed by training on safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver

Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Multidrop
Customer facing
Ensuring goods are safely secured
Completing vehicle defect and maintaining logs
Completing delivery paperwork

Requirements of the Class 2 Driver

A valid full category C licence
Must have a current LGV C licence with Drivers CPC and Digi card
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Work well with others as part of a team
Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
No more than 6 points on your licence

Compensation of the Class 2 Driver

The starting salary for this position is £13.60 per hour with time and a half after 40 hours.
Weekend work potentially available.
