The Opportunity


As an Asset Update Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading and managing a high performing team, ensuring they are working effectively and in line with relevant policy and local work procedures.

Also, you will be responsible for ensuring that asset data is complete and accurate prior to it being committed to Cadent core systems, and the colleagues have the correct skillset to deliver the work in line with Cadent service level agreements and policies.


Role Accountabilities

  • Utilising management information to monitor and measure team performance to facilitate cost effective, timely, quality work output.
  • Liaising with relevant stakeholders to achieve the performance and quality targets / expectations & promoting optimum efficiency and compliance.
  • Coordinating and delivering work efficiently and with precision within agreed processes, procedures and timescales and be able to motivate staff to achieve targets in periods of high workload.
  • Complying with required H&S standards at all times reducing risk to colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
  • Measuring, monitoring and reviewing team objectives and targets, undertaking performance reviews in line with Cadent performance and reward framework.
  • Ensuring accurate and robust reporting is produced to demonstrate all work is delivered inline with key service level agreements and key performance indicators.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience of leading in a transactional team
  • Working knowledge of ESRI, SAP and supporting systems
  • Working knowledge of RE/2/3 and/or DR/
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a larger team to meet departmental and business goals
  • Excellent time management with high level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach towards quality of information, data integrity and company ethos
  • Experience in setting deliverables, managing workloads and dealing with conflicting priorities
